This flanker is the same description as Brackish Man, plus a vintage-style animalic accord reminiscent of Kouros. It is tastefully done and still very modern and wearable, but with a slightly more animalic presence for fans of old-school men's fragrances from the 70's and 80's.
I wasn’t sure about this one at first sniff, but the more I smell it the better it gets. Will have to get a full size next time.
Brackish Man Intense smells awesome! The only problem I have with it is that it sells out so damn quick, when it is restocked, that I haven't been able to buy a bottle.
The entire Brackish line is insanely good. I came into it first with Brackish Man, was introduced to Old Man Brackish (my favorite fragrance in a collection of 250+) and now am enjoying Brackish Man Intense to an absurd level. The animalics are not overpowering, just background to bring more character to the fragrance. If you like either of the other two on the Brackish line, get this. It's beautiful.
An absolutely fantastic fougere with just the right mix of old school charm. While there are elements of Bracken Man present in Brackish Instense, specifically with the clove, this branches off into its own thing. Blind buy safe if you like Bracken Man or well done masculine leaning fougeres and imo not redundant to Bracken Man.
Mr Sniff calls this old school masculine and I agree it smells like something I might imagine my grandfather wearing but i think its great. It opens with a spicy cinnamon, clove, nutmeg smell and slightly anamolic. My friend thought it smelled pissy but i don’t smell that. To me it’s more of a dirty adjacent note. It dries down to this lavender almost soapy heart and 8 hours later when everything else is gone I smell something that to me smells like a light elegant frankensence.
