This formula, despite being 65% Aventish, goes in a distinctly different direction. The pineapple top note of Aventish is dialed back and replaced with notes of grapefruit and cranberry. The black currant note is noticeably amped up. The base is supported with the addition of vanilla, smooth woods, and subtle suede.
Overall, it is a darker, smoother, juicer, slightly sportier take on the Aventus DNA. Our most popular formula to date!
I have Aventish red in the original round bottle with the label that just has the name and the first version they did with the red colored juice.
These are two very different scents. The first one is this nice cranberry, grapefruit, spicy, woody scent. The newer red one is a grapefruit bomb. Very good in the beginning, but as the first hour goes on it just becomes grapefruit.
My favorite from the Aventish line, smell wise and presentation wise. Love the Fruity Pebbles opening. It takes this Gen X'er back to his childhood. None from the line are screamers, but this is the loudest from the bunch. A solid fruity, woody scent that I'm glad to have added to my collection.
Aventish red is a great fragrance. Performance is as expected for a fresh, clean fragrance like this one. And the scent itself is excellent. It opens with beautiful fresh, and not too sweet, fruits. Then it dries down to a very clean and smooth woody finish, but the fruits linger nicely in the background. I’d say it has definite nods to the aventus dna; but this is not a clone at all. It totally does its own thing. I’d say it borders on the edge of a designer scent profile with the smooth, mass appealing nature. But it is different enough to stand out from the crowd. Not to mention I was able to directly communicate with the owners via tik tok to inquire about upcoming drops. Makes the experience personal and meaningful. Five stars for supporting family owned businesses who do things right.
Aventish Red is just a solid fragrance all around. Definitely worth getting.
So much care went into this fragrance. Every offering is amazing. Smooth, clean, masculine, and fruity. I’ll be rinsing this bottle this fall.
