Aqua 2.0 is not just a minor twist on 1.0. It is entirely different fragrance identity but with the same core spirit: a "super fruity" take on the Aventish Blue theme. Whereas 1.0 was about 90% Blue, 2.0 is only about 75% Blue. This version is a larger departure. Blue and Aqua 1.0 were both "clean" aquatics: bright, clear, fresh, sparkling, light. Aqua 2.0 is still an amazing summer fruity aquatic, but it is heavier, smoother, and more densely tropical feeling.
All the notes below for Blue are still present, but the addition of Lime, Peach, Coconut Pulp, and slightly sulphurous Tropical fruits (think guava, mango, passion fruit, etc.) become the main stars.
Notes and Description for regular Aventish Blue:
Aventish Blue started with a very simple question: what would a lighter, fresher, aquatic, summery Aventus smell like? Like Aventish Red, this formula is about 65% original Aventish, but really doesn't smell much like Aventus at all. It's fresh, musky, aquatic, and ozonic, with a more subtle tropical fruity vibe. (Aventish Aqua goes all in on the tropical fruity vibe!)
Top: Bergamot, Lemon, Pink Pepper, Sea Salt, Watermelon, Spearmint
Middle: Pineapple, Patchouli, Iris, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Coconut
Base: Musk, Ambroxan, Ambergris, Oakmoss, Cedarwood, Sandalwood
I own the original Aventish Aqua and picked up 2.0 after hearing the new formulation added more tropical notes. I’m glad I did.
The DNA of the original is still there, but 2.0 feels brighter, smoother, and more fruity. Performance has been solid and the added lime and coconut notes give it a fresh, uplifting vibe without losing the clean, acquatic character that made the first version so enjoyable. It comes across as an Aventus inspired fragrance with its own personality rather than a simple flanker.
If you enjoy fresh fragrances with a tropical twist, Aventish Aqua 2.0 is an easy recommendation.

This is such a nice tropical summer scent. Very unisex to me and still very wearable for me. Nicely dialed up fruity take!

Amazing fruity aquatic fragrance with a light bleu dusting. Probably the most perfect unisex fragrance I’ve ever smelled, you’d never look at a man wearing it and say it smells like a woman’s perfume and you’d never say a woman smelled manly wearing it. Imagine someone standing next to you wearing a nice smooth fruity fragrance that has an aquatic background and someone wearing a smooth subtle bleuish fragrance walks past and the sent mix in the air and that’s Aventish Aqua 2.0. It has great lasting power but not overpowering, a couple hours will go by, you’ll forget about it and then a wind hits you and it wafts in your face… it does that all day! 10/10
